Happy Basset Brewing Co is a local and family-owned business in Topeka, Kansas. Our business was started in 2014 inspired by our two amazing basset hounds, Gracie and Freckles. We had our official grand opening in October, 2016. Since then, we have been providing Topeka and the surrounding areas with highest-quality beer.

Flavor is the key to the perfect craft beers we make. From the selection of ingredients to the aging time, we strive for perfection in every pour. Working local from start to finish, truly makes our palettes fresh and unique each and every time.

Giving it Back to the Community

Giving back to the community is important to us. We love helping in many ways by supporting and participating in fundraisers for the Red Cross, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, the ASPCA, The Topeka Zoo, and Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka. We also enjoy participating in many events in the surrounding areas. We like to think we can make a difference in the community. We thank our amazing patrons, our staff, and our fantastic brewers for our success.

Helping in the Overall Growth of Topeka Community

We are members of the Topeka Chamber of Commerce. We believe in having a cordial relationship with other businesses. We always partner with our neighbors at Glory Day’s Pizza to support growth of both businesses. We have built a strong, symbiotic relationship with Stirring Soil Farms as they take our spent grain and use them as feed for their pigs or as compost.

Additionally, we have local food trucks come out as often as possible, helping to drive the food truck culture that is increasingly popular with the millennial's. Through all our partnerships, it is clear that as a business, we sincerely believe that we can help build a culture that attracts young talent and we look forward to opportunities to partner with other local businesses in the interest of the overall growth of the Topeka community.
